Action Of Solidarity With Eduard Palchys Held in Hrodna

Several dozen people signed postcards with the words of support to the prisoner of Zhodzina jail.

Activists of the Belarusian Christian Democracy have held an action of solidarity to support Eduard Palchys, founder of the 1863х.com website, in Hrodna, Radio Racyja informs. Several dozen people signed postcards with the words of support.

Leader of Hrodna branch of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Siarhei Verameenka says that it remains important for the political prisoner of Zhodzina jail to feel other people’s solidarity, to know that he is supported by thousands of people at freedom:

- To inspire other people to support him, we suggest posting in the internet information with a hash tag #джонтрымайся. I know him only from the internet, we have never met personally, I read many materials at his website 1863x.com, it was very interesting for me. I liked that he wrote in Russian, that his materials were published in Russian, I think most people would understand them better this way, not just in Belarus, but also in Russia.

Eduard Palchys, known as Jhon Silver, was detained in Russia and extradited to Belarus, under the criminal case fabricated against him for incitement of ethnic hatred.
