A case has been opened against UCP leader Anatol Liabedzka for allegedly unpaid fines which he has actually paid.

Leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka has received two notifications that two administrative cases had been opened against him for not paying off fines on time, the website ucpb.org reports.

“It has become a kind of gimmick to send notifications after the event – Anatol Liabedzka noted in his comments to the site ucpb.org. – It has turned out that I was invited to see police officers to be informed that the cases had been opened. However, I received the information after the fact.

I can give only one comment now. It happened before when it came to arresting the car, the garage, the apartment, and only then it turned out that in fact the fines had been paid. Therefore it’s difficult to say, what court decisions have become the ground for the administrative cases. It is not clear from the papers that I have received. I consider these measures as a psychological attack, related to the election campaign and the fact that we are actively working with a team of speakers of the center-right coalition.”
