The Russians, who have outstanding debts amounting to more than 10 thousand rubles, will not be able to travel abroad via Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The relevant documents are now being prepared by the Russian Ministry of Justice.

Debtors will be deprived of the last opportunity to travel abroad.

The newspaper Izvestia wrote on Monday that the Ministry of Justice is to ban flights abroad through Belarus and Kazakhstan to the citizens of Russia having debts more than 10 thousand.

“According to the agreement between Russia and Belarus on equal rights of citizens of these countries to freedom of movement, choice of place of residence, the competent authorities of both sides will take measures to eliminate exit to third countries for the citizens, having legal restrictions on it,” – the newspaper was informed in the Ministry of Justice.

The ministry also informed that a draft protocol on the order of the information exchange about citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, who have restrictions on leaving, is being prepared.

“After completing the internal procedures and signing the protocol, the established order of the information exchange will eliminate the cases of debtors’ exit through the territory of Belarus,” – the department’s press service informed.

Debtors banned from leaving in the Russian Federation are people with outstanding debts over 10 thousand rubles.
