Ales Bialiatski Urges For Solidarity With Political Prisoner Kondrus
ALES BIALIATSKI

The activists have already forwarded the first solidarity postcards for the political prisoner to the remand prison.

Chairman of the human rights center “Viasna” has sent a postcard to Uladzimir Kondrus and urges everyone to show their support to the political prisoner who is kept in the pre-trial detention center #1 in Valadarski Street in Minsk. He has just started to emerge from a hunger strike, informs the HR center “Viasna”.

“Political prisoner Uladzimir Kondrus stays in the prison hospital now, as he has serious health issues after the hunger strike. Until recently, no one knew about his arrest for over a month and a half, he received no information from freedom and had no moral support whatsoever. So I am urging all unindifferent people to write just a few words to Uladzimir Kondrus, to show their solidarity with him. Uladzimir Kondrus got into a trouble and our moral obligation is to help him,”Ales Bialiatski has said.

The activists of the organization’s voluntary service have already forwarded the first solidarity postcards to Uladzimir Kondrus. Everyone who cares about this man’s destiny can do the same.

Postcards and letters to be sent to the following address:
