Lukashenka: I’ve Known It For 25 Years Already That Future Belongs To China

The dictator dropped the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang a court curtsey.

Lukashenka and the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang held negotiations in Beijing, BelTA informs.

At the beginning of the meeting Lukashenka noted, that he had been interested in China's development experience for the past two and a half decades, and that his acquaintance with this country had begun before his election in 1994. Lukashenko said that, being a deputy, he had proposed to use the Chinese experience for the development of Belarus, without destroying the system and state structure which existed at that time. “But at that time there were too many liberals there who have chosen the Western path of development,” – the dictator noted.

Lukashenka stressed that despite that he still had offered to study the Chinese experience. “I visited your country, visited the cities, studied the functioning of free economic zones, visited your villages. I know very well the general direction of development of this beautiful and ancient country, – the president said. – Intuitively, already back then – before my ruling – I realized that the future of our planet belongs to China. As you can see, I was right.”
