Soldier Dies In Hrodna Garrison

The conscript soldier was cleaning weapons at the firing ground after the range practice.

On September 6, a conscript soldier got a fatal wound during the process of cleaning the weapons after completion of the range practice at the firing ground in one of the military units of Hrodna garrison, BelaPAN news agency reports with a reference to the Ministry of Defense.

The checking is conducted upon this fact. Given the received data, a procedural decision will be taken in due course, set by the legislation.

“The Ministry of Defense expresses its condolences to the family and close people of the serviceman and will render any assistance in compliance with the legislation,”— stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense.
