Leader of the human rights center "Vesna" Ales Belyatsky, serving a 10-days arrest for his part in the Freedom Day protest, has to be set free today, which is two days prior to the due time. The rest of the detainees - Vintsuk Vyachorka, Pavel Severinets and Yuri Belenki will stay where they are - in prison.
Belyatsky got imprisoned on April 2. April 5 his attorney Vera Stremkovskaya appealed against the verdict of the Central court in the Minsk city court. Although she insisted that they release both Belyatsky and Vyachorka, the higher court only agreed to liberate the former.
