NEWS  Authorities Accept Offerings from Businessmen 11:13, 16/08/2001, Brest online Unusual agreements are signed between the town hall of Krychev and private entrepreneurs. Under the terms of the contract businessmen sacrifice donations for the reconstruction of their hometown worth 15 minimal wages and get a permission to trade in downtown, reports “Brest courier”. According to the town mayor Vitaly Belinsky, the entrepreneurs, whose activities are licensed, voluntarily give them the sums, which oftentimes exceed the one requested (sometimes as much as $400). “We aren’t racketeers, we invest money into the town.
