Goncharik’s Aide Gets into Road Accident 11:03, 21/08/2001
One of the leaders of electoral headquarters of the unique candidate from the wide public coalition Vladimir Goncharik, member of the board of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Narodnaya Gromada), former deputy of the 12th Supreme Soviet Vitaly Malashko got into a car crash.
The accident occurred at around 2p.m. August 19 near the Berezy town of Brest region. Vitaly Malashko and his wife Inessa were riding their “Varburg” car from Brest to Minsk. In Brest Malashko held a series of business meetings, relating to the pre-election agitation for Vladimir Goncharik, as far as he’s in charge of Brest region.
According to his spouse the car swirled around and went off the road although the motorway was quite even, says BelaPAN. The car overturned once or twice and was thrown onto the opposite lane. Vitaly Malashko received serious head trauma and bleedings. His scull is broken, he got severe lacerations on his face. In the intensive care of Berezy hospital they placed 32 seams on his facial skin.
