Another Organization’s Equipment Seizure 11:04, 21/08/2001
Agents of the State Committee for financial investigation visited on August 20 the central office of the public association “Belarusian club of voters” and confiscated all documents for the equipment, which the association has at hand.
Thus, we have here a follow-up of the August 17 events, when the staffers of the Committee raided this office, located in Berkuta str. in Minsk. On that day the financial police ran a three-hour long search in the office, filed a protocol and, following a short debate, left the place under condition that they will be presented on August 20 the documents for the office equipment and financial report on the organization’s activities.
