NEWS  Gay Provocation in Minsk 11:16, 07/09/2001 Gay-parade, scheduled for today in Minsk, is a provocation, concocted by the Belarusian special services. Its goal is to discredit Belarusian opposition and give Lukashenko the lead at the ballot. Charter’97 press-center learnt that one of the “Lambda” gay-leaders Eduard Tarletsky is a KGB agent. Today’s statement by the gay-parade organizers in support of opposition is a deliberate provocation. Interesting detail – before September 7 none of the announced gay-parades in Minsk had been sanctioned.
