Medical University Principal Intimidates Students To Make Them Vote Earlier 11:25, 07/09/2001
As the press center of the Charter`97 was informed, the students of the Belarusian State Medical University, who live at the youth hostel in the Lermontov Street, 28, were locked inside by its administration. The principal of the university, Pavel Bespalchuk, is going to come to the locked-up students. He wants to lecture them personally on the importance and necessity of the early voting, and push them to do so, because the time is running out – tomorrow is the last day of the ‘before time’ ballot vote. Besides, as one of the Charter`97 site’s visitors informs, in several groups of the Minsk Highest Radio Technical College studies were cancelled and the students sent to vote before time by the administration of the college.
