Kazakh Senate ratified the Agreement between the governments of Belarus, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Russia and Kazakhstan on mutual visa-free travels of citizens. This happened on November 12 at the Kazakh Senate’s plenary, presided by Omirbek Baigeldi.
Under the conditions of the complicated international situation the introduction of visa-free travels may surely provoke the influx of fugitives, which is especially true of Afghanistan. However, said the Foreign Minister Erlan Idrisov, they don’t expect too many incomers. Moreover, their draft law envisages that in emergency situations the government may embark on some extra measures to protect their frontiers. Same day, reports the Senate’s press-service, the senators considered the laws on the introduction of changes and amendments into the Law on Budget System and some other legislation in connection with the ratification of the new Taxation Code.
