At one of the administrations of the Mahilyov building trusts unrest started because wages for September have not been paid. According to Alyaksej Paulouski, the chairman of the Free Trade Union of the 12th trust, at the building enterprise #56 the beginning of the general strike was planned on November 12. Foremen tried to find out when builders and engineers receive money. People received 35 thousand roubles each – a so-called ‘minimum consumer’s basket’.

Strike is an extraordinary event for every person in charge, and the authorities punish for it severely. So in every organization and enterprise discontent is hidden. The same happened in this case. The managers assure that there was just a conversation with foremen about the term of the wages.

The trust administration guarantees that workers are to receive their wages soon, and the problem lies in clients who do not pay.

In Mahilyov construction trust #12 another happening, unpleasant for direction, has occurred. A party of builders who was to go to Russia at one of the military units by Moscow, refuse to go until their colleagues who have worked there before receive their money.
