Belarus to Get Less of Russia’s Oil 11:03, 01/04/2002
In the second quarter 2002 Russia intends to reduce the volume of oil supplies to the Republic of Belarus, said the Russia’s Ministry of energy representative. Supposedly, in the first quarter of this year the level of Russian petroleum supplies into the country will reach 3,7mln tons (with the planned 3,5mln tons), while in the second quarter it will expectedly fall to 3,4mln. The major oil suppliers to Belarus are the petroleum giants “Surgutneftegas”, LUKOIL, YUKOS, “Slavneft” and “Sibneft”.
