NEWS  Kuropaty Memorial Comes Under Attack Again 11:03, 18/04/2002 Yesterday evening the road workers at the Minsk beltway traversed the memorial’s boundary and launched their excavations opposite the Cross of travail. The workers claimed that they had to dig a pit there. The law-enforcers from the Sovietsky police station of Minsk silently watched how the workers destroyed the memorial ground.
