PROTEST MARCH “CAN’T LIVE LIKE THAT ANYMORE” HELD TODAY IN MINSK 11:13, 19/04/2002
The Protest March “Can’t Live Like That Anymore!” is to take place today, on April 19, in Minsk. The action is to start at the Yakub Kolas Square at 6 p.m. The Protest March is held in order to attract attention to the problem of the pre-election promises by a presidential candidate Lukashenka that have not been ulfilled. The irganizers of the action are film director Yuri Khaschavatsky, human rights watchdogs Valery Schukin and Dzmitser Bandarenka, journalist Mikalai Khalezin, and ZUBR activist Tsimafei Dranchuk.
