Belarus Readying to Develop Cooperation with South Africa 11:04, 27/05/2002
On Monday the capital of Belarus will be visited by the heads of the diplomatic missions of Southern Africa, accredited in Moscow: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania, as well as in Belarus – Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique.
RIA “Novosti” correspondent reports that the press-secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Pavel Latushko said that during the talks of the South African Development Commonwealth member-states with Alexander Lukashenko, speaker of the lower chamber and the Foreign Minister of Belarus the sides will discuss concrete measures on the development of cooperation with Belarus and South African states.
They also expect to discuss issues of “real increase of the Belarusian export” into these states, cooperation within the UN framework, Non-Alignment Movement and other international organizations.
