NEWS  Gunter Verheugen: Belarus Will Enter EU On Condition Of Democratization 11:17, 09/07/2002 A meeting of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Narodnaya Hramada) Mikola Statkevich with European Union Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen took place in Brussels. During the meeting Mr. Verheugen declared that in keeping with the agreement on the EU formation, Belarus, as any other European country, can enter the EU only on condition of democratization of political and economical life.
