NEWS  Russian FM Head: Moscow-Minsk Relations Should Be Based On EU Principles 11:08, 10/07/2002 He head of Russian Foreign Ministry believes that it would be expedient to base the relations between Russia and Belarus on the pattern of the European Union. “New principles of relations should be constructed by the two independent states. From our point of view, it would be more reasonable to follow the direction of the structures that have proven their vitality, the European union in particular,” – said Igor Ivanov.
