NEWS  15 Days of Arrest for Anti-Russian Action 11:10, 12/09/2002 15 days of administrative arrest were ruled by the Minsk Central district court judge Tatiana Pavluchuk against the Young Front’t member Dmitry Dashkevich. The man is charged with participation in an unsanctioned picket at the gates of the Russian embassy on September 8. The YF action lasted for some 10 minutes. The youth, indignant over Vladimir Putin’s incorporation proposal, determined to hand over to the Russian diplomatic institution a petition against the deprivation of our state sovereignty. Policemen, guarding the embassy, didn’t let them do that, as far as the activists shouted a few anti-integration slogans and threw onto the Russian embassy site Putin’s scarecrow.
