Court of the central district of Minsk turned down on October 18 a request of the religious association of Krishna devotees, filed to the Committee for religions and nationalities of Belarus concerning their registration.
“Rosbalt” correspondent reports that the Committee denies them registration, referring to their absence of a proper legal address. However, the plaintiffs claim that they have already presented to court all the concomitant documentation, according to which the organization’s legal address is located in house #11 on Pavlova street. This, nonetheless, did not satisfy judge Vera Daineko-Grabovskaya, who finally took the officials’ side.
