NEWS  Regime Readying to Sell Arms to As Many Buyers As Possible 11:42, 01/11/2002 “We consider it necessary to sell, if there’s a chance, our military machinery and ammunition to the greatest possible number of consumers,” – said at the October 31 briefing the head of the department for international security of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Alexander Baichorov. “That’s a normal international business practice,” – said he. The only limitation, to which Belarus keeps in this regard, is that “we only ship weaponry to the countries, which aren’t liable to international sanctions”. Alexander Baichorov didn’t answer what are the volumes of the Belarusian export and import of arms. “I don’t have any data in this respect.
