Kolomiyts’ Body Found in Molodechno Forest 16:34, 19/11/2002
The body of the Ukrainian journalist Mikhail Kolomiyts’ body was unearthed by the Belarusian law-enforcers in one of the woods in close vicinity of Molodechno, “Mediafact” was told on Tuesday by the press-secretary of the Interior Ministry Dmitry Parton.
According to him, one cannot rule out a possibility of a suicide, for the journalist was found hanged. At the moment, the journalist’s mother and girlfriend set off for Minsk for a body identification procedure. Police press-secretary claims that “the law-enforcers are 90% sure that the body belongs to Kolomiyts. We managed to identify him by the documents, left in the Molodechno hotel, where he booked a room and by the clothes, which he was wearing,” – said Parton.
