Zubrs/bisons take part in picket in Warsaw 12:10, 11/12/2002
In connection with the Universal Human Rights Day action of solidarity has been organized in Warsaw. It was also dedicated to commemoration of the victims of regime.
ZUBR activists and some polish citizens came to Belarusan embassy with pictures of missed politicians and imprisoned journalists. It provoked a movement inside the building – behind the windows appeared employees` faces. One of them began photographing participants of the action. People living in Warsaw showed the protesters a very positive attitude to the action. Everyone watched the portraits with curiousity, many people asked for the informational leaflets distributed by the protresters. Policemen called by the embassy employees also showed their sympathy to protesters. "He seems to be OK guy..." - said one of them about Zakharanko`s picture, then they asked for a leaflet, that participants of the action were distributing.
