New Foreign OSCE Officials to Start Work on Feb.3 15:45, 13/01/2003
Technical personnel of the OSCE office in Minsk started operation on January 12. The foreign officials of the new OSCE office in Belarus will commence their activities on February 3, BelaPAN was told by the counselor for the programs of the Belarusian OSCE bureau Dmitry Aleshkevich.
According to him, on January 8 the official site for employment in OSCE announced a contest for occupying vacancies in the OSCE bureau in Belarus. The deadline for submitting the applications is January 21, after which there will be held interviews with the candidates and on February 3 the foreign workers will start operation. Meantime, the head of the office will be directly appointed by the OSCE chairing country, that is Netherlands, while his candidacy must be approved by the Belarusian authorities.
