Disobedience Dearly Costs Premier 12:30, 04/02/2003
On Monday Alexander Lukashenko strongly reprimanded country’s Prime Minister Gennady Novitsky and chief of his Administration Ural Latypov. Such warning has been voiced at the meeting, dedicated to the work of the paper industry, reports “Interfax”. Lukashenko motivated his decision by “the non-fulfillment of a presidential decree on inadmissibility to appoint to the leading post persons, who had been previously dismissed for undue execution of professional duties.”
Moreover, having considered information, presented by the chairman of the Committee for state control, Interior Minister, prosecutor general and other top officials, Lukashenko ruled to reinstate as deputy Interior Minister the head of the Investigative committee Leonid Glukhovsky.
If you remember, the man had been temporarily suspended from job for the period of work of the state commission, which looked into the financial activities of the paper industry enterprises.
