“In many aspects we didn’t see progress after our last meeting”, -- said Uta Zapf on negotiations with vice-speaker of “house of representatives” Vladimir Konoplev on Thursday. Also there is no improvement in state of independent media.
Yesterday on February, 5 in building of International education center Uta Zapf and member of PA OSCE Urban Allen met leaders of political parties.
Uta Zapf said that opening of OSCE office in Minsk is “compromise of both sides”. Head of special OSCE group said that there are different interpretations of OSCE mandate. “The main mandate of mission is assistance to development of civil society in Belarus and four conditions of OSCE. We must concentrate not on mandate but on activity of office.”
