Minsk city court didn’t satisfy Nemtsov’s claim to KGB
11:09, 07/02/2003, Lenta.ru

Minsk city court didn’t change verdict of district court and didn’t start civil case on Nemtsov’s claim. Leader of “Union of right power” claimed on wrongful decision about his deportation from Belarus. It was said in claim that KGB representatives violated law about state of foreign citizens. We’ll remind that on 23 of October of year 2002 Nemtsov, co-chairman of “Union of right forces” Irina Hakamada, and political scientist Sergey Markov arrived to Minsk on conference dedicated to integration of Russia and Belarus that was organized by opposition parties.

In airport “Minsk-2” they were detained and taken to airport “Minsk-1”. They were put into plane that taken them back to Moscow.

Spokesman of Belarusan Ministry of Foreign affairs Pavel Latushko said that leader of “URP” was deported for “multiple intervention to inner affairs of Belarus”.

Nemtsov claimed to court at the end of year 2002. Court didn’t satisfy claim. Decision was motivated by fraise: “decision about deportation was not made”.
