An information with sums of payment for flats and communal services for December of 2002 was placed near our village shop. Opposite my surname there was sum – 134.033 rubles. I’m not a “champion” in the list. You can see also sums 148.000, 210.000 and even 242.000…

You’ll think that we have debts for our magnificent flats? No. We don’t have debts. As well we don’t have gas and hot water in our flats. That is why we must also pay 11.000 for gas cylinder and 5.000 for electricity. They also promised that in January prices will rise 40-50 thousands. Can you imagine? They don’t say how to live!

I understand that people all over the country pay this sums. Salary is miserable. In village we feel it most of all. I’m a teacher. I have higher education and the highest qualification. I get 160.000 a month in average. I get this salary once per two months. Collective farmers don’t get more than 60.000! Did someone of administration think where we can get money for communal services? And how can we pay, if we didn’t get salary for December still.

Non-cense! None pays attention to collective letters from our village. No one cares how we will live!
