NEWS  Foreign Minister Rendezvous with OSCE Mission’s Head 11:23, 14/02/2003 On February 13 the Foreign Minister of Belarus Mikhail Khvostov met with the head of the OSCE office in Minsk Eberhard Haiken, reports the FM press-service. In course of the meeting there took place an exchange of opinions concerning the possible forms of cooperation between the government of Belarus and OSCE office in Minsk. The sides agreed that opening the OSCE office and the start of their activities open new horizons for the relations between Belarus and OSCE, which must be built on the basis of mutual respect and trust. Haiken underscored that he intends to constructively cooperate with the Belarusian authorities and keep up contacts with other sectors of the Belarusian society within the framework of the mission’s mandate.
