Any arguments that direct contact of the buyers of military equipment with the manufacturers damage the country’s security interests, are incorrect, said in an exclusive interview to “Interfax” the director of the “Tetraedr” company Andrei Vahovsky.
He clarified that such direct contacts between buyers and sellers only help promote the world’s military-industrial complex. In particular, he referred to the examples concerning Russia’s joint project with other countries on the manufacture of K-52 copters and Russia’s selling a license to produce artillery complex S-300 to China.
Speaking of the security problems, the agency’s representative stated that in the whole world they use various methods of thwarting the possibility of the exported weaponry’s getting into wrong hands.
