NEWS  Rally "For Better Life!" in Borisov 11:22, 13/03/2003 March 12 evening the meeting of solidarity with the Minsk People’s March was carried out in Borisov. The action, which attracted over two hundred people, was held on the central square opposite the town hall’s headquarters. The event lasted for around half an hour. The floor was given to pensioners and even a 82-year old man from the near-by village, who spoke about the tragic condition of the Belarusian villagers. The action was joined by ZUBR activists and entrepreneurs. The people raised banners “We won’t give you our salaries”, “Just let us work!”. The action was closely watched by huge police numbers. They apprehended two ZUBR activists, who unfurled their banner.
