On the 23th of July justice administration of the Gomel executive committee demanded supplementary documents from the Gomel oblast public women union “Initiative” that was created in September 1999 by women from 9 districts of Gomel oblast.
In Tcherikov, a town in Mogilev oblast, people collect money for the restoration of Lenin monument. This initiative belongs to local syndicates. In Tcherikov they are planning to collect from people and enterprises 10 millions rubles by the month of September.
The Mogilev executive committee cancelled its decision according to which The Mogilev ,local organization of the Belarusian People’s Front was given an office in the former “Dniepr” hotel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refused to comment the exile from the country of Katagina Matushevskaja, deputy president of the Polish party “Unija pracy”/ “Labor Union”. “We’ve decided not to comment this event”,- said Andrej Savinikh, press-secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Last night on the Scaryna avenue the activists of the Young Front Dmitry Dashkevich, Artur Finkevich and minor Oleg Gnechik were detained. The boys were sticking leaflets. The policemen however have brought an accusation of hooliganism. They were all brought to the police post of the Sovetsky district.
White-red-white flags will flutter over the building of the Czech Senate in the honor of anniversary of adoption of the Declaration about the national belarusian sovereignty. This initiative was proposed by the group of senators that jointly with the representatives of the BNR Council, Belarusian union in Prague “Scaryna” and the found “Man in need” carried out the sitting of the organizational committee of the political club “For free Belarus”.
