According to the information from the sources of Information Ministry, Michael Podgayny has tendered his resignation and now Alexander Lukashenko has to accept or decline it. The ministry press service refused commenting on the matter and only first deputy minister Stanislav Nechiporovich answered the question posed by Radio Svaboda: ‘Everything is on the point of being clear’.

The ideology course will be required in the institutions of higher education of Belarus from the 1st of September. Academy of management guided by president of Belarus has already worked out the program of the new learning course for the future specialists-ideologists. As Belteleradiocompany informed, this year the course will be lectured to 70 persons.

The talks on “Beltransgas’ privatization between ‘Gasprom” and Belarusian officials finished on August 5. The contracting parts have managed to protocol all the differences on the joint-venture creation and they are not so numerous now. But the Belarusian authorities still are not going to give up their positions on the principle item – "Beltransgas" price. They are hoping that the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko will make Russian monopolist to pay for “Beltransgas” at full price.
