The session of the working group on the creation of the European coalition took place on October 24 in Minsk. The closest and strategy issues of the European coalition were discussed. Mikola Statkevich, the leader of the Belarusian Social and Democratic Party (Narodnaya Hramada), Andrey Sannikau, a member of the Council of the block “Free Belarus”, Valiancina Matusevich, the leader of the women’s party “Nadzeja”, Leanid Malahau, the chairman of “The Private Property”, Nina Stuzhynskaya, the leader of “The Women’s League”, Anatol Fedarau, a regional public activist, Zmitser Barodka, the chairman of Minsk region branch of the block ”Free Belarus”. The presentation of the movement will take place in Minsk on November 1, on the tenth anniversary of the European Union.

NATO doesn’t plan for the nearest future to participate in military maneuvers on the territory of Belarus. On Thursday Major General Ernst Lutz, the chief commander of the Subregional Command Center “Northern East” of the united NATO forces, informed the journalists in Minsk about it.

The President said that Belarus needs guarantees that “the money tap will not be closed” due to the introduction of the Russian ruble. “We need political, diplomatic, and foreign guarantees, which will be enclosed into the Constitution”, said Lukashenka.
