November 2, the fall memorial day of ancestors Dziady, for the last 15 years has also been considered a memorial day for the victims of the political repressions and fighters for the Belarusian Independence. On October 30, 1988, there was a procession to Kurapaty organized by the youth organizations “Talaka” and Tutejshyja”.
On October 30, 2003, the activists of Minsk city organization of BPF party with the chairman Uladzimir Kishkurno carried out a couple of actions at the places of mass burials.
On November 2, a traditional procession to Kurapaty took place. About 1000 people took part in it. They were carrying crosses, flowers, and candles for about 4 hours. The rout started from plant “Luch” and up to the world known place of burials.
