On November 11 at 4 am the police detained at Kamarouski district Zmitser Dashkevich, 22, Artur Finkevich, 18, and Aleh Hnechyk, 17. They were held at the police station of Savetski district. The protocols were filled in for spreading printed materials without editorial information. Later on the activists were let go. They were spreading leaflets with the slogan to participate in the march against a possible referendum, as Radio Freedom informs. The Administrative Commission is going to consider the case within a month. The activists are most likely to be fined.
The members of the civil initiative the Charter’97 took part in the last session of the Coordinative Committee “Hrodna Initiative”. The Concern “Belneftehim” approved new prices for benzine and diesel fuel. According to the order, from November 6 the prices were increased by 1%. From the beginning of the year they have increased by 40-45%. The increase is connected with the growth of the dollar exchange rate and with the objective to attract to the oil market.
