Textbooks on the basics of ideology of the Belarusian state will be published by the start of 2004, a deputy minister of education, Tatstsyana Kavalyova, told a news conference conducted in Minsk on 14 November. She added that this subject would be mandatory and would be introduced in all institutions of higher learning in the second semester of the educational year.

As BelTA was informed by the head of the department on supervision over investigation of the republican office of public prosecutor, senior justice advisor Salaudi Magamadov, at present the office of public prosecutor is finding out where Alexander Kozulin is staying.
