Symbol of velvet revolutions in Serbia and Georgia came to Minsk. ZUBR activists hanged 10 meter long banner with signature “GOTOV JE! (He is finished!)” in the center of Belarusian capital. It happened at 2 p. m. on Sunday on the bridge over Nemiga street – one of the main and animated streets of Minsk. Thousands of passers by, passengers and drivers of public and private transport saw the banner.
ZUBR activist Anton S. was detained on 30th of November in Baranovichi.
Under-aged Anton S. was detained and taken to police station by policemen for gluing posters. For about half an hour they were speaking to him, asking questions about leaders of the organization, sources of financing, and sources of printing production. Than he was released.
About hundred posters with “He must go slogan!” were glued by ZUBR activists in total near city market and in nearby streets.
The delegation of “the national assembly” with the chairman of “the house of representatives” Vadzim Papou at the head is visiting Iran on December 1-2.
Leader of “The Union of Right Forces”(Russia) Boris Nemtsov visited Minks on November 29 on the invitation by the deputies’ group “Republic”. Despite being sent away a year ago from Minsk and the secret decree of the National Security Committee banning Nemtsov to enter Belarus for 5 years, he managed to make it to Minsk.
