Police set against Lyceum students
16:54, 04/12/2003

The authorities put more pressure on the National Humanities Lyceum named after Yakub Kolas students’ parents. Policemen come to their apartments and threaten them with legal sanctions if their children do not study in regular schools. The students’ parents can be fined for supposedly bad bringing up. The policemen said that they will pass the filled in protocols to the administrative commissions and regional executive committees.

Despite the repressions classes are still carried on. The students are actively preparing to the coming scientific conference. It will be held in January. The children are preparing research reports. The best works will be published in “Nasha Slova”.
