Belarus supports the policy of the Libyan leadership, said Alyaksandar Lukashenka on Friday receiving credentials of Libyan ambassador to Belarus Abdullah Al-Mighraui, informs RIA “Novosti”.
“Belarusian leaders follow and weigh up the situation in Libya and understand what is going on in the country”, said Lukashenka.
Belarusian leader also emphasized that Belarus is a reliable partner of Libya guided by principle. “The governments and leaders of the two countries have established good relations, and today there is no need to reassure of sincerity and honesty in relations between Belarus and Libya”, said Lukashenka.
According to BELTA, Lukashenka believes that “in 5-20 years Libya is to reach a very high level of development”. “We are ready to contribute to that through cooperation with Libya”.
Belarusian president plans that the leaders of the two states are to discuss all problems of Belarusian-Libyan cooperation in the near future.
Lukashenka has asked Libyan ambassador to convey his kindest regards to Libyan president Moammar Gadhafi.
