ZUBR Actions In Regions

The third anniversary of Zubr resistance movement was mark by news energetic actions. Several national white-red-white flags appeared in Baranavichy over the main streets of the city. They were unfurled on wires between nine-storey buildings in the Prytytsky and Charnyshewsky streets.

Posting leaflets with Zubr logo and a slogan “Long live Belarus!” continues in differend regions of Belarus. On January 15 and 16 they appeared in Stowbtsy (Minsk region) and in Baranavichy (Brest region). Activists paste them at bus stops, posts, and bulletin boards in central parts of towns. Special attention was paid to railway stations and markets. In Baranavichy leaflets appeared on the building of the town executive committee.

Meanwhile, new issue of the newspaper “Supratsiw”, dedicated to the third anniversary of Zubr’s establishment, is disseminated by activists in Minsk. Newspapers are handed out in the center of the city in the October Square. Information on the results of the past year and last news of the political and social life of the country are placed there. Soon dwellers of most regional centers of Belarus and smaller towns would see the newspaper. IN the capital dissemination will be continued too.
