NEWS  Censoring Of “Volnaya Hlybokaye” Newspaper 12:55, 05/02/2004 The independent newspaper “Volnaye Hlybokaye” underwent censoring by the head of the publishing house in Maladziechna. Without permission of the editorial office the report about the congress of the Belarusian Popular Front, held on December 20, was removed. As Radio Svaboda informs, staff of the printing-house liquidated the message about the BPF congress, and instead of that placed advertising material with phone numbers of the advertising department of the newspaper and words: “At this place your announcement could have been placed”.
