Gazprom and Beltransgaz Have Not Agreed On Gas Delivery Terms Yet 14:07, 25/02/2004
Gazprom and Beltransgaz have not agreed on terms of future supplies of Russian gas to Belarus, PRAIM-TASS informs. “Heads of the companies, Alexei Miller and Pyotr Pyotukh exchanged their opinions in the framework of the new round of talks in Moscow, however tangible results were not achieved,” ITAR-TASS was told on Tuesday by Gazprom.
Source told the agency that “the today’s’ talks in Gazprom and in the Russian Finance Ministry are not directly linked”. Meanwhile, at the meeting of the first deputy finance minister of RF Alexei Ulyukaev and Belarusian Finance Minister Nikalai Korbut an agreement was reached that the Russian loan would fully cover 10.2 billion cubic meters of Russian gas supplies, which accounts for about 50% of Belarus’ annual gas consumption.
