Dear Valery, Uladzimir and Syarhei, we admire your courage, resoluteness and self-sacrifice. By your protest you have given new hope to people and revived will for victory. However, the news we receive from doctors about your state of health and health of other strikers causes our great concern.
We consider your hunger strike a signal to start an extensive campaign of all democratic forces aimed at freeing Belarus from the dictatorship. We believe that you have won the first battle, as the Belarusian society is beginning to wake up.
We address you with a call to stop the hunger strike, but to continue your struggle. Belarus needs you alive and healthy, as leaders to whom people trust and who are able to head the nation.
Let’s stay together, and Belarus is to become free!
