NEWS  Polish President’s State Secretary Monitors Hunger Strike In Belarus 11:20, 16/06/2004 Prof. Tadeusz Iwinski, State Secretary of Polish President’s Aleksander Kwasniewski, told to Radio Svaboda that he is following the hunger strike of the Belarusian parliamentarians and politicians and respects their choice. “It is certainly a question what effect the hunger strike would have. The deputies are trying to turn attention of the Belarusians to the necessity of changes in the election code before the elections.
