Two schools in Poland ready to admit 15 students of closed European Humanities University 16:24, 01/11/2004
Two Polish schools have expressed readiness to admit a total of 15 students of European Humanities University (EHU) that was closed by Belarus’ education ministry this past July, an official with EHU told BelaPAN.
The National School of Public Administration (WSAP) in Bialystok offers free training in international relations, philosophy and administration for 10 EHU students. On graduation, the students will be granted a bachelor’s degree and have the opportunity to enter master`s degree programs in administration at Bialystok University and in philosophy, sociology and culture studies at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology.
At first, the EHU students are expected to be instructed in Russian or Belarusian but will have to take an intensive course in the Polish language.
WSAP is also looking for additional funds to finance their accommodation.
The Higher School of Humanities and Journalism in Poznan is ready to admit five EHU students, for programs in politics, international relations, sociology, culture and computer science.
