NEWS  Fifteenth Day Of Hunger Strike Of Vawkavysk Pensioner 11:55, 12/11/2004 A pensioner from the town of Vawkavysk, Valiantsina Saldatava, demands the authorities to revise the results of the elections in Vawkavysk, and resume the “Mestnaya Gazeta” issuing. Mrs. Saldatava says that she would not stop the hunger strike, and she would hold on till the end. 70-year-old Valiantsina Saldatava started the hunger strike on October 28. She is sure that in Vawkavysk election district local businessman Mikalaj Awtukhovich has won. But the authorities named different winner. She also protests against suspension of publishing of the newspaper “Mestnaya Gazeta”.
