UCP Leader Got Two Writs to Prosecutor’s Office Interrogation 16:48, 01/12/2004
Leader of the United Civil Party (UCP) Anatol Lyabedzka has received two writs for the interrogation to the Prosecutor’s Office. In the interview to the BelaPAN the politician told that on December 2 he was to come to the Prosecutor’s office of the Central district of Minsk to testify in the case of his article publication in the Polish “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
As said by Lyabedzka, the article concerned information leak from one of the consultations carried out by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, and dedicated to the referendum and election campaign.
The second writ was sent by Minsk city Prosecutor’s office. A. Lyabedzka was summoned to give evidence on the press conference held several days before the parliamentary elections and referendum in the UCP head office. At the press conference the leaders of a number of political parties told about possible schemes of election fraud and vote count falsifications.
